Our Services

Our offices are equipped with comprehensive, modern, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment. Each office has separate sonographic imagery, fiber optic endoscopy (Cystoscopy), urodynamic equipment, minor operating/procedure rooms as well as laboratories for basic analytical services. In addition, our Fifth Avenue office has Fluoroscopic (real time x-ray) capabilities.

Utilization of this sophisticated equipment allows our doctors to expeditiously diagnose patients' problems and initiate therapy. These services are provided on-site to our patients depending on their individual needs and the limitations of coverage under their insurance policies.

Medical Consultation

Urology encompasses the diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the Urinary Tract in Men and Women and the Genital tract in Men. Accordingly, our physicians offer diagnosis and therapy for the entire spectrum of Urologic Disease.

Diagnostic Imaging

Sonographic and Radiographic Imaging are invaluable tools for detecting many genitourinary conditions. With these tests, our doctors can often diagnose problems and act upon it immediately.

Radiographic fluoroscopic imaging (real time x-ray) is an important tool in assessing patients with kidney obstruction and stones. State of the art digital fluoroscopic imaging equipment is available to our physicians at all times. These services are provided to all patients that have medical necessity and insurance allowance. Sonographic imaging (air waves) is an invaluable tool for detecting many genitourinary conditions. All of our offices have on site sonographic equipment. With this non invasive tool, our doctors can detect certain urologic problems as well as keep track of ongoing conditions.

Urodynamics Testing

Many of our patients benefit from therapies instituted after normal urodynamic evaluation. This test is used to assess the appropriate muscle and nerve interaction of the voiding (urinary) process. It is often very helpful in directing therapy to improve a patient's urinary control (continence). These tests are performed by Drs. Armenakas, Danziger, Kavaler and Won at the 245 East 54th Street office. As with most procedures, urodynamics testing usually requires an authorization by your insurance company, either written (faxed or by mail) or verbally over the phone with an authorization number.

Please be sure to look at our insurance information page for more details.
