R. Ernest Sosa, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr.
Sosa is certified by the American Board of Urology and graduated from Cornell
University Medical College where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the
national honor medical society. Dr. Sosa completed his entire training
at the New York Presbyterian Hospital following which he was a Ferdinand
C. Valentine fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. In 1993, Dr. Sosa
received the American Urological Association's award to the individual
who, within 10 years of finishing his training, has contributed the most
to American Urology.
Dr. Sosa is Clinical Associate Professor of Urology at the Cornell University Medical College and Attending Urologist at the New York Presbyterian Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
Dr. Sosa joined the practice in 2003 and is particularly interested in minimally invasive therapies and the management of patients with urinary stone disease.
Currently practicing at the 880 Fifth Avenue office.
